Cabo San Lucas

Puerto Vallarta

Alone on Zippers, just don't forget to bail before you reach the beach!

Oh yeah, then there's the 5 o'clock traffic on the "East Cape" to deal with!

Middles then Zippers looking south

Just you and me and, well a few new friends at "Old Man's"!

First port of Call..

Cabo San Lucas!

First of all, get up early and watch as the ship arrives into the bay, coming in around "Lover's Point" is truly a sight to see. Next up, BREAKFAST, yes boys and girls eat up, you'll need the energy! We'll be departing from the ship via a "tender" boat around 9:30 that will take us to the dock where our guide awaits. Local surfer and good friend of mine will be our chauffer for this, our first of three consecutive days of "Surfing in Paradise", Mexico style!

The lay of the land in and around Cabo San Lucas is pretty ideal for those of that enjoy surfing. As you can see here in the aerial view image of the tip of Baja, no matter which way the swell is coming  from, we'll be able to find it! The nice addition of having a guide like Alex is he'll know where the swell will be and take us where it's at! Along with his boards, his knowledge of the area and an un-crowded break, if it wasn't for "Mother Nature", I could guarantee you a great session at any one of these breaks!

East Cape

One possibility with swells out of the South to a West-South/West is this beautiful "East Cape" break, notice the "un-crowded" lineup! I spent a great afternoon here in June of 2009 and had this spot all to myself for 2 1/2 hours!

Playa Los Cerritos

If the swell is more westerly to one out of the north we'll head north and maybe visit this "popular break" that is made up of a lot of beach breaks and  a good right-hand point break. This beach is a lot of fun and wide open, just get out of the van and get in the water! Water here can be a little cooler then the Cape so if you have a favorite "spring suite" bring it.

San Jose Del Cabo

Another option for us will be this "little stretch" of beach that has a nice combination of breaks, anywhere from a great long-boarder's break know as "Old Man's" to a short-boarder's break called "Zippers"

Tomorrow's another day in Paradise, Check it Out!

Small World's Main Street Emporium

A little Sight-Seeing for the "ladies"? Visit Todos Santos and the Eagle's home away from home?

New "Boutique Hotel" overlooking Playa Los Cerritos, kind of sad to see, but a nice building!

How about a secret beach all to ourselves?

Beautiful little "cove" just south of Cabo San Lucas
