Day 14 - The Inside Passage - Cruising!

"This is one of the most famously beautiful passages in all the world. It features virtually everything you came to Alaska hoping to see, including rain forests, glaciers, fjords and white-capped peaks. All of which create a setting that's perfect for viewing whales and sea lions"

Day 14 - A day at sea heading back to Vancouver! Just look at this beautiful morning as the sun comes up! The seas were calm, the sun was shinning, the workout was good, the Eggs Benedicts were perfect, oh yes, it doesn't get much better than this for me, and to think it was only 7:55 am, I have all day to enjoy this anyway I want too!

Look at this view of the inside passage! This was taking during our Captain Club event, what a view! Between the entertainment, all of my new friends and this incredible view it was hard not to enjoy this last day at sea!

As the last days roll around it time to show a little gratitude to ALL of those that help make your visit so memorable. Here on your left is a special thank you I did for my "Barista Master", Wilson. You might notice who was in the shot with him, camera shy "Flo". This framed shot was a reminder for my buddy Wilson to "Go with the Flo"!

Nice new touch by the Millennium's current Hotel Director, here is one of the many new pieces of furniture that she brought onboard during my time here. The Millennium spent two weeks in "dry dock" prior to the Alaskan Cruise season and the ship is continuing to get a nice face lift daily. There is a lot of upkeep on a cruise ship and Celebrity Cruise does a great job keeping up with just that, job well done "Dierctor"

So it's Thursday night, the last night onboard for most of us, and all seems a little quiet. Here is the "Guest Relations" desk assisting a few last minute guests, but next door is an empty "Shore Excursions" counter.

Where is everyone you ask, well the restaurant is hoping, the casino's lights are flashing and the Martini Bar, well you know, they were pouring! For some of us it was time to pack. All the luggage needs to be outside your door by midnight so it can magically disappear from the ship and reappear on the pier in time for us to claim it in the morning, yes it kind of sad, it's almost over.

So I was off to my room, as even I had to pack my two weeks worth of now dirty cloths and a few presents for those I love. Tomorrow, it will be time to say goodbye to those onboard and make my journey home, so for now it's goodnight!
