I will be hosting both of these cruises and really looking forard to being onboard with Azamara. I have been waiting for an opportunity to see why my clients are saying they love AZAMARA Club Cruises and this is it! Not only am I a "Island Lover" but my first cruise back in 1978 was onboard the Nordic Prince which was the same size as the Journey, just under 700 passengers.

The size of the Journey allows us into ports that most ships today have not a chance of calling on. St. John is a short ferry boat ride from St. Thomas but why not enjoy your floating hotel rather then a "ferry boat" besides, we get to hang out from 9:00 am until Midnight and I do not know of any ferry boats staying there that late. Oh, I almost forgot, we just came from St. Thomas where were in port the day before from 8:00 am until 6:00 am, just a three hour sail to St. John! Next stop, a short distance to Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Island for a 7:00 am arrive and a full day visit until our departure at 6:00 pm for Bermuda.

So we'll start an overnight, a "late night departure" and 11 hours in our third port of call, but guess what, the next three ports are basically "Overnight" stays! When we leave the British Virgin Islands we'll have two wonderful days at sea and arrive in Hamilton, Bermuda at 8:00 am and do not leave until 5:00 am the next morning. Leaving Hamilton we are only away from the dock for four hours as we'll be docking in the "old harbor" of St. George, Bermuda at 9:00 am where we stay tied up until we leave the next morning at 6:00 am as we make our way to the pier in Manhattan, New York City! Oh yes, we'll have our same accommodations and the same dinning opportunities while in New York and we will not even have to pack our cloths as we stay "overnight" onboard the Journey!
